An Oregon Department of Corrections (DOC) adult in custody, Albert William Hussey, died the morning of October 5, 2024. Hussey was incarcerated at Snake River Correctional Institution (SRCI) in Ontario and passed away in the infirmary. As with all in-custody deaths, the Oregon State Police have been notified, and the State Medical Examiner will determine cause of death.Hussey entered DOC custody on November 10, 2022, from Crook County with an earliest release date of February 9, 2027. On Thursday, October 3, 2024, Bryan Norman Anderson was indicted on two counts of sex abuse in the first degree by a Washington County Grand Jury. In September 2024, Tualatin Police were informed of a sexual abuse incident involving an adult male and a minor. Tualatin detectives investigated and developed probable cause to make an arrest. At 8:12pm on Thursday October 3rd, Forest Grove Firefighters were dispatched to a reported barn fire in the 45000 block of NW Hillside Road, approximately two miles Northwest of Forest Grove in rural Washington County. Crews arrived approximately 10 minutes later to find a 3,500 square foot metal barn with heavy fire involvement throughout the whole structure. Due to the size of the structure and amount of fire, the incident was upgraded to a 2nd Alarm to bring additional resources to the scene.

About an hour past midnight on October 3rd, an observant Lane County Sheriff’s deputy spotted a car in the Danebo area associated with Kristopher Robert Glenn, 38, of Veneta. On September 29th, 2024, an off-duty Lincoln City Police Department Officer was requested by employees of the Space Age Convenience Store to trespass an intoxicated male who was refusing to leave their property.
